    Default Knee problem

    For 5 years, once a week I run 10 miles, do squats with a bar (2 times a week) and every workday ride a bicycle 10 miles. Last time I ran a 3 mile longer distance. Since then the first week I felt pain in my legs, but not severe, and after this week I didn`t feel pain, but my knees crackle and pop when I fold my legs. Do you have any suggestions about how could I try to get rid of this problem?

    rest up

    dont do hi impact cardio dude..
    ie dont run..
    squat once a week, use a light weight and build up and also use a partial ROM that youre knees like..

    agree with the above sounds like could be start of arthritis ... my right knee has grade 4 arthritis and my left knee is waiting op for torn cartilage .your symptoms sound very like mine 6 years ago.

    Where do you even start with finding out if you've got arthritis or not?

    It appeared during my last exercise. I felt the pain at the last 2 or 3 miles. The pain ceased in a week but that crackle and pop in the knees took place.
