    Default Knee clicks

    Heya,

The last few months, every time I do a squat me knees click. It hasn't always been like that, just started up. Doesn't hurt or get in the way, but it is a bit worrying.

Just wondering if anyone else has that. Should I be taking a joint supplement?

    Joe

can be a number of reasons, at times the ligaments can jump out of a groove, occasionally some crystalization of synovial fluid, slight cartilage damage.
could try things like fish oil, glucosamine, chondrotin, msm

Mine are the same, can hear them 'crunching' whenever I bend down. Got a feeling they're come back to haunt me in years to come!

I'd say get an appointment with a chiropracter first of all to make sure everything is lined up properly, if it is get an appointment with a physio and see what they have to say.

When I squat down my cruciate ligament comes out the groove and pops back in as I stand up, it's agony. My chiropracter and physio found no faults so I went to a private orthopedics specialist and found out one leg is 12cm shorter than the other! It had never troubled me before when I was carrying more muscle but now there is less muscle to keep everything in place I have problems cropping up.
