Hey buddy none of the frustration in some members of Musclechat in this thread is directed at you, I realise some of the responses came across that way.

Its directed at shit routines like this that really just don't work and never will and are one of the biggest reasons why people never make any progress. The trainers who advocate them just use you to make money and really don't have nay idea what they are talking about.

Its a joke in the bodybuilding community about personal trainers they are like the door to door insurance salesman of bodybuilding. I know 1 PT who knows what he is talking about but thats only because he waws a bodybuilder first for 8 years. I'm sure there are many people in his position but the PT who reccomended this routine to you is not one of them.

Thanks for sharing the info though and I'm glad its worked for you God knows what you could do on a good routine with a good diet if this has worked for you. How much did your arm size change? untensed and tensed.

since doing this (im 16 btw lol) my arm speed has improved ive noticed i can hit alot faster and alot harder with alot less strain on my arms, there far tenser than before and have put on roughtly 3 inches which has really impressed me.
the program also helped me be alot more motivated, hightened my strain barrier as in...
i find now i can go throught alot more pain in my arms without the thought of taking a small break coming into mind i'll have to get a camera and take some photos of my arms and myself
i know that the distress isnt directed at me, and im not directing any stress towards anyone else, i like this program but if youthe bodybuilders dont agree with it then maybe i should consider signing up to a new gym and gettting a new program.

If you're happy with your results and what it's doing for you then don't change. Just because it's not the type of routine myself and others might not practice doesn't mean that you should automatically stop training this way. Especially if, like you said, you've increased 3 inches on your arms.

3 inches seems hell of an increase to achieve from this routine, personally I'm a bit doubtful, so I'm looking forward to your photos.
How long have you been doing this routine?

agree with chalk stick with what works. 3 inches over how long. I have only put 2.5 inches on my biceps in the last 18 months from around 14.5 to the 17 mark which they are currently although my arm size is small in comparison to the rest of me. I do have good peaks though. But yes photos is the way forward

Conisag, at your age and starting training 2 years ago I'd expect you to have big gains, your body is brimming with natural GH and your own testosterone so growth is inevitible.

The human body responds to failure, when you push your body to failure it counters this by getting bigger and stronger. Your regime is pushing to failure but will only take you so far before you are not able to increase intensity, you can only manage a certain number of reps per second and it is widely accepted that growth is stimulated on the negative part of the movement, something you will not be experiencing because the weights you'll be using are so light.

You will get a result so far then you'll hit the wall with regards to gains, this workout could force your body into a catabolic state too as its more like circuit training for the arms, without the circuit if ya know what I mean.
