REMOVE IT!

Completely annoying and unecessary!

You dont have to wait longer for the page to display.

It still loads at the same speed.

Not really a polite way to put your point across either......

Ive removed it for now.

Going to have a re-think of placement, etc.

Might just move it behind the top nav bar, this way if a page does take a few seconds to load, at least you know it is loading!

I have no problems with thee loading page, i actually thought it was quite a nice touch to have a qoute to glance at, as the page is only up for a second.

Sorry for rudeness.

I like efficiency. And as to why a loading screen would be added onto a website is absolutely beyond me, its completely pointless and unecessary.

Like when you play a game you dont want to see loading screens, no different on a website.

on a second note, is it just me or is the site lagging?

Loading screens serve a valid purpose, they quickly indicate to the end user that action is occuring and for them to wait while the action is completed. Otherwise users (who are by design inherantly stupid when it comes to computers) tend to press buttons again and slow things down (or mess things up for themselves)

It's a bit like when you pay for something online with your credit card - the first thing most sites do it show some kind of payment in progress screen and say for you not to bash any buttons.

MMUK - I liked the loading screen personally.
