Ma Huang herb safe to EAT?

Looking at Ephedrine sources for my ECA stack I invested in some Ma Huang from a Chinese herbalist in town.

Thing is, I dunno how to prepare it! I made a tea with 2g of it yesterday and I got nothing from it, although apparently it's 6-8% ephedra which means 300mg or so should be a good 20mg Ehedra.

Could I just ingest a third of a gram - I have no idea how much I get from brewing a tea and it would be much dearer...

i think, that if its 6 - 8% ephedra, then its normally 8% active ephedrine alkaloids....

so do 8% of 8% and multiple it by the amount you want to take...

Unfortunately I work it out as almost 10 grams to get 64mg active eph alkaloids?

i'm probably wrong though, so don't eat 10 grams and die :P

Yah, they've got a load of cheap sida cordifolia at MyProtein and my search for how much to use and how to use of Ma Huang has been fruitless- looks like I've wasted £5 on the Ma Huang, I'll get the pills.

if it's proper Ephedra herb tea, you need to add 20g herb to one litre water and juice of a lemon. Bring to boil then simmer gently for 20 minutes. Strain through a coffee filter and store in fridge. Be careful with the dosages as it is the rea deal and can knock your socks off. Try 100ml first.

Ephedra/Ephedrine is not free for sale in Germany, but the pharmacy IS allowed to sell Ephedrakraut though many will not order it for you. I managed to find a pharmacy who would order it for me and I can assure you, it was the best Eph I ever took, including pure hcl.

not to sound like a total junkie here... BUT (lol) if you you want to use ephedrine... just buy some ephedrien tabs from a dealer!! much easier than messing on with all the calculations and sh*t.. and no doubt cheaper too!

if you dont have a good enough source then am guessing chest-eze tabs from your pharmacy would suffice as they contain about 18mg ephedrine!

...pop dem pills... tea is for old ladies!!!

I agree with Lee here....

i had a 50 gram back of ephedrine powder a while back - very potent but dangerous because you never really know the dosage you are taking..

I agree that it's easier to get from a source. I was more in the experimental mode with the Ephedrakraut and this was a couple of years ago.

But on the other hand, Chesteze make me feel absolutely awful, and even Vasopro contain guaifenesin.

As I mentioned, the Ephedrakraut tea gave a lovely buzz. (now I'm sounding like a junkie.... I don't even drink alcohol)

To be honest you should go to Gatecrasher and buy something from there! it would probably be safer at least someone else has tried it first!! 8)
You must be able to find ephedrine somewhere not that I recommend it one bit it.

Even buying ephedrine from a dealer is a joke now, its never the proper strength anymore since the legalities of selling this product legitimately in India changed. Now its no longer an over the counter product there the people making it know its for black market and the strength us never right.

There is no easy answer but getting it from a dealer is still your best bet, p1ssing around with ephedrine powder or raw ma huang is a lottery which you may get wrong, at least under strength ephedrine is manageable, if 2 doesn't work take 3, if 3 isn't enough try 4, etc.

Its because you can fraction ephedrine powder to crystal meth and methamphetamine that the concentration has decreased
