Mate of mine is about to do a cycle of this, I think he gets his from monster supplements but I don't know the price. |

| Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Bristol Posts: 3,230 Rep Power: ![]() | yes, but if they sell less but at a higher price, that might be more profitable for them. if i sold 1000 of an item for 1 i would gross 1000, i'm maximising my sales output. but if i sold 500 of the item for 2.50, i'd make 1250. Profit maximisation is very different to sales maximisation it just has to match the companies' interest and power in the given market (sorry i did a level economics...) ______________________ - Obsession is what lazy people call dedication - |

Fact remains that while you could sell a product for 50 if it's expected retail price is between 30 to 50, you would however sell a lot more at 30 if the demand is there. Going too cheap though is also not good and can have a negative effect. | |
