Wel hes obviously talking about ph's bro because its 1 1ad/4ad cycle. Im in a very similar position to Godfather we are both 20 both on our first cycles.
Anyway being a uni student myself i'l have a shot at helping u out. First of all I too never imagined myself doing anything like this. The simple fact that weighing up risking your health against any other factor is ridiculous. You shouldn't really ever risk ure health in principle whatever the balancing factor. So i find myself asking what the **** am I doing, doing something which ive just said in principle I disagree with.
Bodybuilding in the first place was an insecurity thing for me I think. Just generally being unhappy with myself. For any1 that knows me only as an aquaitence ie not to well they think this seems real strange. Im captain of uni football team, very loud outgoing, huge group of mates that im pretty central too etc... Im obviously not bragging when i say any of this im just pointing out that 4 some1 to look at me and think im unconfident would at the outset never happen. I come across as a very confident person. But what I always think on this point is that bodybuilders manufacture their confidence. We create it. U ask 95% of bodybuilders if they would go up to the same girl in peak condition or after a six month lay - off and I know wat answer u will get. Many bodybuilders are confident but real confident guys are confident in themselves no matter what, bodybuilders literally build themselves into an image they are happy with and many never achieve this.
I think the main reason most ppl start is a desire to better themselves in some form, u will hear alot of ppl say yeah nobody will **** with me now, ive heard alot of that on the site. Personally this used to be an issue 4 me bcoz i went to a real rough high school one like u cant probably imagine. But im a uni student now and a loud mouthy one at that so just not really an issue 4 me anymore i know i could totally handle myself in any situation i get into.
Another reason is obviously attention from women but the main point is that any reason leads back to is unhappiness with ure image or atleast i desire to better the image u portray for wahtever purpose u personally see this benefitting.
As far as the ph/ps/steroid progression. U being a bodybuilder yourself will know when u started did u give a shit about whether ure calves matched ure thighs etc.. I highly doubt it. Now i look at every little thing and think how it needs to be improved. As u progress ure goals increase as ure goals increase they become harder to obtain. I personally have done ph's bcoz i was sick of busting my arse and only seeing slow progress and i have to be the best at everything i do its just my personality. Anyway hope all that helps theres a picture progression chart of me in the last nine months in post ure pics use it if it helps.

whats up man

okay the main reason i got into bodybuilding was because i wanted to get bigger, i was very skinny in school and this bothered me, i wanted to look the best and have the perfect body... i'd look in AWE at my hero Arnold! and i'd see these musclemen on TV getting all the women and i used to think 'damm!! i wish i could look like that one day!', so i decided to do something about it and start lifting, it was never serious at first... but as the gains came and i got deeper and deeper into the BB lifestyle, changing my diet, putting my workouts above other commitments i totally fell in love with it, and now i'm hooked on BB'ing! i couldn't imagine where i'd be now if i hadn't started BBing, its an awesome passion!

as for the PH and steroids... i got very fustrated with my gains, naturally they are more or less at a hault, i never thought it would happen when i was young, i thought i could put the weights up every week and i'd keep growing but it dosen't work like that, i want the perfect body, i want the huge 50inch chest and the tiny 32inch waist, it is virtually impossible for anyone to get a body like that without steroids, i never used to know how popular steroids were, but now i realise how common they are in all the US sports (football, baseball, basketball etc..) and obviously all the top bodybuilders are doing some serious juicing, IMO if you don't juice your almoast at a disadvantage, after doing plenty of research and finding out the TRUTH about roids i decided to do them, before i had believed all the hype about how dangerous roids were... but now i see that all of that is bullshit man


so to recap the reasons why i started is because i felt skinny and i felt that made me less of a man then the other more muscular guys around me, and by getting bigger i hoped to be more intimidating and also get more chicks... as well as feel more confident about my appearance, as for the roids it was because the progress was rubbish, i realised that i was living in a dreamworld if i thought i was gonna look like maurice green just from a good diet and plenty of intense training... and the benefits of steroids are so fantastic i'm just realising how widespread their use is and how much they can help me get where i want to get to, if i'm to carry on BBing and enjoying it then i have to use AS, its enevitable, either that or else i'm gonna get fed up and move on

well i'm coming towards the end of my cycle now, my last doses will be this sunday, after that its onto post cycle treatment

the good:
well i've added a bit of mass (i'm estimating around 5-6lbs, not sure if its all muscle yet or not, we'll soon see when i start pct)
i've added strength (working sets on bench went up from 95kg to 105kg, rows from 65kg to 80kg, millitary press from 55kg to 65kg, arms i just improved my form and my reps, squat has gone up from high reps on 60kg to 8x90kg)
vascularity is good and i got some very nice pumps
no signs of gyno or hair loss
no sign of getting shut down too heavily, balls are still reasonable size

the bad:
i expected to gain more weight, but i think part of that was due to my diet, my eating slipped now and again and i found it hard to stay motivated at times and cook all these meals with everything else goin on (my new girl and a heavy uni workload has been a major distraction)
lethargy and emotional sides were a bitch

the ugly:
very mild acne on upper back, hardly noticable
water retention! can't stand bloat at all (i think for the dbol i'm gonna get some letro on hand)

i am a little dissapointed that i didn't add more weight but overall the cycle helped me bust through a lot of sticking points and overall i'd say it was a success, i'm already looking forward to my next cycle (dbol and s1+) i'll post up final weight and BF readings at the end of the week
