My opinion of it is that links are fine but remember if we want to keep musclechat running then we need sponsers and those people are only going to advertis here if we buy stuff from them!

Hi Mark,

Why do you feel that in order to keep Musclechat going that sponsorship is needed, just curious as web hosting is dirt cheap thesedays and if the site is of sufficient interest to the owner then why should they mind paying for hosting even if in return they only received the gratitude from the members for doing so?

While gratitude does not pay the bills as far as domain name and hosting goes, current advertisers and the shop have more than covered it so far I assume (shrug).

Does not matter to me but having run a couple of bigger community sites with more than just forums in the past for free I don't see it as a major expense worth even mentioning, certainly does not warrant the tone of your reply at any rate...
