| Making Progress | Hi LM, excellent article on that PH mate, you see the difference between these prohormones and natural testosterone, is that due to the atoms not missing but fiddled with, shall we say this is why they work so well, because they basically cling to the receptors, for between 3-5 days roughly, where as natural test actually only lasts for between 45-60 mins. Sorry another vague post. This is why the steroidal like effects take place. Dave. |

"This is due to the fact that nandrolone is missing a carbon atom at the 19 position, giving it overall more affinity for the androgen receptor than testosterone." So, would I be right in thinking that removing (?) the C atom at position 19 of any compound that was related to nandrolone would make it more receptor friendly? | Making Progress | Hi LM, basically that is the theory, as you know certain types of ph's and steroids too vary in structure, therefore the scientists that tweak and fiddle are kept on their toes due to the rapidly evolving business of sports science, to clarify not all the different ph's have a particular C atom at position 19 or 17 or elsewhere but yes that is why these supplements have exactly what i mentioned the steroidal effect due to this. I'll go back and rethink how to explain it more clearly LM, it looks a bit foggy to me, but i hope you get the very basic understanding of it. Dave. |
