Default Did i hit the big 100

on the smith i have worked up to 70kg 3x12 usually failing on or b4 12. Today I went heavy 80kg and knocked out 12reps. recovered and done it again . so it had to be done added 5kg. Got to 9 full reps. well pumped. so with the bar did i hit 100kg.

Good stuff bro. The first time I benched 100kg, I was really proud. It's a good point where you can call yourself more than just someone who works out a bit, or is naturally strong.

Theres a smith at my gym but the counter wieght hasnt been attached forever - anyone know how much the bar wieghs cause I have to add it to the lift??

Its feels like about 30k (its a big ol boy) but I wondered if the bars are standard.

if you keep the increments small-ie 1kg max, next week you should get 101kg and the next 102kg-just keep going and get plenty of rest.

your body will adapt to the increments eventually. Also this doesn't take into account any other variables which all effect growth and weight lifted. Increments of 1kg per week whilst true may work limit your potential to achieve a more dramatic success over a quicker amount of time IMO.
