hey steve, i seen October and thought it was 2005 for a minute, then seen it was last year.
couples of questions, whats your current weight now any closer to 18/20 stone
Also what supplements you taking?

Last thing do you still deep squat? any problems with your knees if so?

i always stay parallel with the floor, also as a general question to all do any of you guys strap your knees up when squating?

parallel the floor and no wraps-out of interest why is is that many peeps say you shouldnt use them and others say wraps protect your knees-i wouldnt use a belt at all if my back could tolerate it.

I'm not a deep squatter. I never go below parallel and this works really well. My legs are probably my most developed muscle group.

Deeps squats utilise the glutes and hams more than conventional squats so therefore I stay parallel to target the quads to a greater degree

Now thats not strictly true. If you are trying to hit the quads then going past parallell will take the tension off of them. The same as locking out at the top. If you stop before you lock out it will keep the muscle under full stress.

I nver knew why I had a big chest and my training partner didn't. His range of motion was far more than mine. He used to lower the bar/ dumbells below arms parallel to his body whereas I just go to parallel.

The same is true for his triceps, they are far bigger than mine. I used to train them with the most ROM I could whereas his are much less. Especially on dips. He comes parallel, but at the top he never gets even close to locking out.
