Default advice on atlas stones

hi all, im new to strongman and hope to compete for the 1st time next year in u105kg or maybe a novice open comp, im trying to get together some equipment to help with my training over the winter, i've managed to get hold of a steel log, a 400kg tyre, and i made a 100kg farmers walk, im looking for advice on how to make an atlas stone ? i was going to use just concrete but have been told the 1st time i drop it , it will crack ? any ideas please ? sure some of you have made them, whats the best way to shape them ? thanks for any help. Guy...

Guy you need to use a cement & 5ml chippings mix.
Google making atlas stones as it can be quite complicated.
I`ve made a fair few.
Ever thought of buying them ?
Big Rob Frampton makes em for sale .
