weightlifting gyms in Manchester

now then,

I'm on the hunt for some weightlifting clubs/gyms in manchester or cheshire. I've contacted BWLA, and got a load of numbers but as yet no-one is replying.

Does anyone on here know of any weightlifting clubs in this region? Travelling isn't too much of a problem, although ideally something in south manchester would be ideal. I know there used to be a couple in Wythenshawe but I can't seem to get hold of anyone who knows about these.

there is the olympic in eccles never been there but you can see pictures on one of the banners on this site, new international in ashton and power house in hyde are both good gyms but thats a trek across town. don't really know south manchester that well but i enjoy the atmosphere in betta bodies and its worth a trip over to have a look if travelling isn't a problem

Hey bro, Im not 2 sure of any gyms in the Manchester area... I know there is a cracking gym up in Leeds, a few of the BAWLA lifters train there, Dave Carter, Brian Reynolds and a few other great lifters Andy Bolton Dave Whiteman...
