I seek the strength these guys have. I know that there are a lot of powerlifters among you so i would like to know how i can get into it.thanks 8) |

But Genesis gym has a good bunch of friendly powerlifters with plenty of advice, I travel up to Genesis gym a few weeks out from a contest. They have a monolift, so you dont have to step back with heavy weights for the squat and a full range of different deadlift and squat bar's. The owner of the gym is Dave Beatie, aka Bulldog!! He himself competes and has squated over 400kgs and benched over 260kgs, so he knows his stuff. Another gym down in Windsor, is The Gallery and has a lot of competitive powerlifters training there. The owner Marc Cullimore is a champion powerlifter and has been competing and training powerlifters for years. hope that helps champ ______________________ Ali boomayeah George Foreman |

I travel from Wales to go train at Genesis, it has all the best equipment and the guys at the gym are very helpful and friendly.. There are four different federations in the UK, the British powerlifting congress, the British powerlifting organisation, BAWLA and BDFPA The organisation Im a member of in the UK is www.britishpowerliftingcongress.com here you can find records, entry forms etc ______________________ Ali boomayeah George Foreman |

The equipment is A1, if your looking for a good atmosphere to train in with olympic lifters, bodybuilders and powerlifters its the place to train.
