Default Decline presses

How useful are decline presses? I use them in the hope that they will boost my flat benching strength but I wondered what others thought.

like irish said shaping mainly of the lower chest, if your not that keen on them, id suggest alternating them with a different exercise.
Doing each exercise once every 2 weeks.
Defiently a good exercise to keep in your routine though.
