| Under Construction Join Date: Jul 2004 Posts: 61 Rep Power: ![]() | I've been training for about 4 years and have put on decent size, my problem is I want to improve my strength. At the mo' Height-6ft Weight-14st Bench-100kg (inc olympic bar) Squat-140kg Deadlift-140kg I have been stuck on these weigts for a long time. How should i be training for raw strength? Pls help. Thanks |

| Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 0 Rep Power: ![]() | Take the bench. Warm up and do the sets as usual. At the end after a wee rest go for 1RM (1 rep max's) If u do 100 kg for reps try 120 kgs for 1 rep. Each week increase this. Dont do too many as there is an injury risk. Every other week is good. It really is more of a confidence thing IMO. |
