Default Starting Out

I am a 14 year old boy and I'm really interested in building my body. I've tried many things but nothing has seemed to work. Does anyone have suggestions or motivation?

First of all a big welcome joeparian.

Always good to have new people joining the forums.

Might I suggest that you look at the beginners section of the front page. In there are a few areas you can look at.

Alternatively you can click here:

Try looking at NEW STARTER NEEDS ADVICE, there is quite a lot there.

Best of luck and dont hesitate to ask, as we are here to help!

yeh i have ot agree there id keep your training to a minimal because your still growing and your bones arent properly formed so dont push yourself to hard if i was you i would just keep to doing sit ups, press ups, a few pullups and a bit of dumbells dnt mean to tell you not to do anything its just wot i hve learnt anyway gd luck

Default absence of weights help!!

hiya
im a student at college and work part time. However i dont really have the time and the funds to go to the gym at the moment. Im quite physically able as i can do 60 pushups straight. however i wanna get really strong and big. I heard that isometrics and self resistance are very good for getting strong and getting big. since i dont have any weights at my disposal at the moment i would welcome any advice and ideas
thanks a lot

Nice shoulders. Chest needs work looking kinda flabby!

Perhaps add some muscle on the leg area too, looks like your hovering.
