well slightly different for me, generally i'm just looking to increase strength, not worried particularly about size, never measure and rarely weigh myself. i would expect BF to slowly come down but not a priority and i'm not stressed about it, a gradual decrease is fine by me.
tend to set myself more short term goals, for instance next one is dead lift 160kg by end of feb, i use DL as a benchmark for my general progress, so if it is improving then i'm happy.
On reaching this goal i'll set myself a new one depending on how this one was achieved.
oh i do sometimes use other people in the gym as motivators, at the mo there's a chap with very good physique and i'm using him as a marker for leg press, i intend to do more than him within the next 3 weeks
im wanting to hit 13 stone by say feb /march (help from t bullet)
then start cutting down as picked a little body fat since started gaining weight since september.
i loose weight easier then what i can put it on!
want to get deads to 150kg and squat to 130kg.
seems reasonable!
Knowledge is power!

My goals, When I started back in July 2011 I was 12.2 stone I am now around 13.4 stone. My goal is to try and get to 14 stone but a solid 14 stone with maintaining 6 pack etc. I am going on Hols in July so want to look my absolute best I can. Not got any goals in terms of weight to lift etc just happy to see improvement on the bar.
