Default Hi beginner and newbie here

ive been trainin now for only 3 months using a good routine and doing my best to stick to my diet. Im 23 and would appreciate some comments on what i need to do to put some size on me (or will it just come in time?) as im quite skinny i think for my age and im lacking in confidence because of it. My routine is a 3 day split (see below) with 30-40 mins cardio 3 times ew.

Day1 - Chest/Tri's
bb flat press 4x6
incline db press 3x8
dips
db flyes (ony every other week tho)

Close grip bench press 4x6
db tricep extension 3x8

Day2 - Shoulder/legs
bb squat 3x8
lying leg curl 3x8
standing calf raise 3x8

military press 4x6
front raise 3x8
upright row 3x8

Day3 - Back/Bi's
deadlifts 4x6
bent over row/seated cable row 3x8
cable front pulldown 3x8

db curls 3x8
preacher curls 3x8

Advice on changes in routine would be appreciated if needed. Here my pics now and please dont laugh, like i said im a beginner and we all have to start somewhere

hello mate.

I've just joined the board recently myself, and have had some solid advice so far so you've come to the right place.

I would say that your routine looks ok, you've got the main compound exercises in there which I think important, particularly when you're starting out as they develop overall musculature and give you a good base to work from.

I found the most important bit of 'proper' training was diet - get that sorted and your halfway there already.

No ones going to laugh at your pics, you looking quite solid and will grow like anything if you keep up the hard work

Allo mate. Welcome aboard.

Bi's are looking good - left bi especially.

Routine looks quite good to be honest - if your making progress stick with it.

I'm guessing you're doing 4x6 to get the weight up instead of a 3x8?

Might be good to mix that up a bit.

Perhaps instead of doing flies try and hit heaver weights on your bench that week?

How does that sound?

Lots of good people on board here. Get your diet posted up

cheers guys, in my routine i do 4x6 for the main compound exercises and 3x8 for the rest. The main reason im on here is to try and get my diet nailed because i find it so hard to stay away from the usual junk food like takaways etc and i know im not eatin enough protein because i havnt even started on the whey yet!!! (due to just gettin me own flat and having no money, but i am ordering 3 tubs of optimum 100% whey this wkend). I am eating every 2-3 hrs and this is roughly what ive been eating since i joined the gym:

breaky - bowl of porridge, banana, pint of milk
11.00 snack (usualy make a scrambled egg sandwhich using 2 eggs)
13.00 tuna and pasta/potatoes, apple/yoghurt
15.00 pint of milk
16.00 TRAIN
17.30 chicken and veggie , fruit, pint milk, and sometimes cake for desert

20.00 scrambled egg on toast using 2-3 eggs then a bowl of corn flakes a little ltr lol

crap diet i know, so im just going to look round now and hopefully find the right one for me, clearly not enough calories in my meals because im trying to add size, advice appreciated, thanks.

If you're brassic mate then milk and tuna are a perfectly acceptable source of protein.

If you can do it on food all the better.

Good progress since that photo a few months ago.

Diet isn't too bad - get on your low GI carbs, up your protein and you will go far.

Hit the compounds hard.

You're doing very well to say you aint been training long.
