Nick's Pics - compare day 2 and day 23 of a creatine course

as promised I have now returned to Bristol and am posting my pictures up for u.

this is quite a cool thing to do , comparing the tensed and untensed photos of before and after, u can see big differences i think

before: 13 stone 5, a bit fat
after: 12 stone 6 (lost the fat but gained muscle perfect ! )

please post ur thoughts!!!

i'll keep the new pics coming, i do them every week

Hey nick

doing well mate, keep going at it and you'll progress even further. I'd suggest you do some work on your delts, they seem to be lacking in comparison to your traps. Not a criticism, just a suggestion!

Ric: this is the first time that i have used creatine and have found that combined with a good set of fat metabolisers and a good low carb high protein diet i have achieved quite a lot ! although next time i do creatine it will definitely be in powder form because i think that the caps aren't as strong ;P

Gail: Thanks for the advice, I have been feeling like i need to train shoulders a bit more hardcore but its hard without a training partner right now really ;( harder to push urself alone on shoulders than just chest as i'm sure that you know. nice pics btw and keep it up.

mark: I have been training on and off for 3 years but started too young, i wasn't fully grown when i started training when i was 16 so really no massive improvements until i was hitting 18. I have struggled for years with a recurring knee dislocation problem and have had 3 operations to correct it 1 per year, which means a heavy disruption to training. So really this summer has been the only time when, living alone because now living in Bristol because of university, i can fully take the supplements i need, goto the gym as much as i want and eat exactly as i want. Living at home as in with ur parents isn't the same because I still had to eat sometimes things that they had bought or cooked for me that werent right, now i can just eat chicken breasts only fr 5 days and no1 criticises me ! hahah

if anybody else has any comments i would love to hear some, so keep em coming !!!

Hey nick

I find the best shoulder exercise without a spotter is side raises, purely because you can keep the form strict, can go fairly heavy, even if you don't manage to raise too high, if controlled both up and down you get good results. In the last 4 months the weight I use for these has doubled, the strength soon comes. Don't bother with front raises as you hit the front delts with chest usually. I find if I use a smith machine for shoulder presses I can push myself more without the fear of losing it totally if I up my weight a bit much, as you can just rest the weight to wherever you can get it if you have to!

ps, dont forget the rear delts, a favourite muscle of mine which is often neglected!

Hi Nick, looking at those results from 1) a beginners point of view that creatine is a good substance to use then the answers lie with you, your training and eating well, and like Gail mentioned, you have given yourself an excellent foundation to go on and get bigger, wether that is your intention or not, 2) from a scientific approach i think whoever creatine you used although they are all basically the same the company would be interested in a subject like yourself considering it was your first cycle on the supplement, finally i would like to add my congratulations on your physique and am sure with your partner, you will grow and gain very well, i dont like making comments on where people are good and bad, it's just something i dont do, i'll let everyone else do that, well done Nick.

Dave.
