Default PCT and HCG?

i have been reading the stickys above and the other PCT threads etc including the one gazz made a while ago

http://www.musclechat.co.uk/performa...nding-pct.html

but in slightly confussed, gazz's post speaks of HCG but yet the stickys that dont cover PCT in as much detail, doesnt mention it nor several other threads iv read? more so just the use of clomid and nolva etc.

On a simple clean cycle of test for example do "most" people use HCG or is this oftern not the case an nolva clomid will be enough?

Just trying to learn more as my curiousity is growing and its something i dont understand and after much reading am still unclear - hopefully you see this as a fair question and i wont get a flaming LOL

Thanks

Dave

No reason to flame, its perfectly acceptable.

Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin's (HCG) action in the male body is similar to luteinizing hormone (LH),it stimulates the Leydig cells in the testes to produce testosterone.Clomid and Nolvadex (Tamoxifen) also do this by stimulating the hypothalamus which in turn stimulates the anterior pituitary gland to release gonadotrophic hormones,i.e.follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone.FSH stimulates the testes to produce more testosterone, and LH stimulates them to secrete more testosterone.Clomid and Nolva are used to treat/prevent gyno as a first port of call but because of their ability to block oestrogen receptors in the hypothalamus and pituitary allowing LH levels to return to normal and in turn, natural testosterone levels, they are an invaluable tool at getting things working again after a cycle.HCG is usually administered during a heavy cycle to to bring atrophied (shrunken) testicles back online in preparation for Clomid/Nolva PCT.

Most cycles run HCG throughout so it's not needed for pct mate.....500-750 iu every 3rd day after the first 2 weeks on test is the common method
