Default steroid muscle memory

I was wondering if you were to do a steroid cycle and gain a substantial amount of muscle mass during the course but during pct lost some would muscle memory kick and make it easier to put that muscle back on after all your hormones were normal again? (sorry about the long winded post but i'm curious!!!)

your weight after PCT is the true weight that youv put on through the cycle in my opinion. if you have a proper PCT in place keep training hard and eating well then theres no reason you should lose that much weight during PCT. One thing that i would say though from my experience is that if you do a cycle and do PCT but over the next year you train on off and have a pretty poor diet, then you can lose a fair bit of the muscle you built during your cycle. I was 12 stone at the start of my cycle two years ago, i trained hard and ate huge amounts of food over the 12week cycle of test. my weight went up to around 13.10. After pct it was around 13.6. two years later having been travelling for a year(iv been back working in the UK and hitting the gym again for 6months or so) im 12.4 stone. So overall iv lost a fair bit! mainly down to the fact that whilst i was travelling i was out partying and drinking pretty much every night!!!! the way i look at it though is that - imagine i hadnt done the cycle in the 1st place and had gone travelling for a year. I would of started at 12 stone and i may easily be down to 11.5 now!!!

nope. but the muscle memory you're refering to will kick in during your next course assuming that all other conditions are suitable (training, nutrition, rest).
