clomid causes hairloss

Anyone ever heard of this. just got some through with my cycle and it says on the leaflet that it can cause hairloss. i also heard from a few guys at the gym that they experience loss when they used it. any truth in this?

In theory used in eugonadal (i.e. not shutdown) men, it can spike testosterone above normal levels leading to more DHT via 5AR. DHT is erroneously assumed to be the root of hair loss, although the evidence points more towards the testosterone/estrogen ratio being the key. Whilst using it for PCT, I would not be concerned.

Hi Mate

I once went out wih a girl who took clomid cos she had endometriosis, and she experienced hairloss, not sure about guys tho, neverheard of it happening.
