Default help with my upcoming tbol cycle

im looking to do 50mg per day for 6weeks and im looking to add some good lean gains whilst also looking to cut up for summer. problem is, im really unsure on what kind of diet i should be implementing to achieve this! if i eat high carbs and high protein then i know i will gain well, but i wont get the ripped look im after for the summer. on the other hand, if i eat low carbs and high protein i will probly gain a little bit of lean mass, but i kinda feel like it would be wasting a cycle by not maximising the gains.

what do you guys rekon? what kind of diet would suit my goals. Will i still gain the lean mass im looking for on a low carb cutting diet, or will i just hold onto the strength and muscle i have and lose fat. help would be much appreciated as im very unsure on what to do!

i reckon you`ll do fine on lowISH carbs and hi protein-
i think at our level the difference will be minimal
if youre gains are lacking at the end of your cycle i`d say thats down to you training rather than anything else-

are you squatting and deading these days?
for maximum growth you need to be.

(btw i class 300g as failry low for carbs )

hi cal. unfortunately no deads and squats still. it just doesnt agree with my lower back. I went down the gym with a very experienced guy to teach me, as i thought it was my form that was letting me down. I did it the way he said and i strained my back and this was on very low weights. iv just given up now tbh. its not worth being injured over. i know im missing out big time with the growth i could achieve on my legs. My legs do get a hell of a workout tho with the job im doing at the moment and have got noticablly bigger in the last month. i run up and down stairs all day with 30-40kg plasterboards! so at the least there getting some action from that. with regards to the cycle, i think il go with what you suggest and keep carbs down and protein high. with the carbs i may keep in down to around 200-250 and eat more on training days and less on non training days.

What you weighing at the moment??

I'm currently trying to 'lean-out' a bit for summer - female attention is a helluva motivating tool - and I'm keeping carbs to just over 1 gram per pound of bodyweight per day. Then on weekends (when I have more time to pay attention to my diet), i'm doing two REALLY low carb days. So far this is working a treat....for me, at least

sounds like a pretty good plan neil. i very much doubt im anywhere the size you are. im 12.5stone and 6ft tall so not exactly massive! but im still looking to rip up for summer! gotta perfect the beach bod for the girls...and girlfriend in the summer!

basically i dont mind going on low carb diets but i kinda feel like im wasting the gears potential when im on a low carb diet whilst on a cycle coz u feel like ur not really maximising potential gains. si

you really need to find a compound exercise for legs that you can do bud-
as you know i use a trap bar and do partials.
a hip belt might be another option as the weigh is not on your back.

i take it you`ve tried leg pressing?

hi cal, yeah leg pressing is all good. thats about all i can do with legs. plus all the crappy leg curl machines etc. which really dont seem to do a great deal!! a belt may be the answer. i might try someones at the gym and see if it helps.
