Digestive enzymes can work as well as peppermint or even just plain old chewing gum, anything thaty helps you digestive system out a little. ______________________ APPLIED KNOWLEDGE, IS POWER!!! If Neil is right then the immediate thing that springs to mind is that if there is pressure being put on the stomach then there may also be on the colon etc too. get exactly the same - trapped air, loss of appetite and if i eat anyway I swell up like a balloon This is where most IBS issues occur and where pockets of air etc can easily get trapped (in my case due to undigested food or other reasons but any restriction could cause it) and may potentially be a cause for the symptoms you describe. The prescriptions I have which resolve this very well are colpermin (peppermint oil as you said) and buscopan. Both of which can actually be bought off the shelf at any chemist as IBS remedies. ______________________ Zara-Leoni Ford My Business: www. cutiecool .co.uk Account Manager: www. physiquebodyshop .com Photos on: www. gasparinutrition .co.za www. rippedglutes .net |
