Question heart enlarge

if your heart is a muscle and while on gear all muscles are growing when exercising .Does that mean if you did less aerobic activity while on a course your heart would not enlarge (always thought it did or is that an old wifes tale)

NO!

the heart will still be enlarged, as when you train, your heart rate will go up significantly due to the anaerobic nature of lifting weights. Your heart has to pump a lot harder to supply adequate oxygen to the affected musculature, the added AAS will then contribute to the hypertrophy of the cardiac muscle (known as LVH - Left ventricular hypertrophy). It is this imbalance between the relative strengths between the venticles and the atrium that causes the myocardinal infarctions (heart attacks) amongst strength athletes.
There are two possible solutions
1:- Do cardio to strengthen the atria
2:- Don't take gear

Your heart will enlarge to an extent whenever you workout regularly, for the above mentioned reason. So doing cardio, regardless of gear intake is advisable as the pump in your legs actually helps remove some of the burden from your heart. You legs aren't known as your second heart for no reason!!

when you are taking gear your hart grow just the same as rest of your body but worst thing is that you hart must to work harder becuse you gain weight in shotr time, also roids can make your blood more DENSE and increase your blood presure and all this thing withaur growing of your veins which give oxygene to your heart. hope you know what i mean...

if you will have problems with your hart you will see your knuskles/feetand claves are puffy , you will have edma on it but will pass when you will take clexane or other gear which make your glood more watery also wery good is hawthorm berry

If taking gear can cause cardiac hypertrophy...does that mean lifting weights withour gear can cause it as well because your heart still has to pump really hard?

Also, how would increasing cardio minimise this?...I fail to understand that bit.

I am unhappy to learn that Im killing myself when I thought I was getting fitter.

How do those of you who take gear minimise this?

Yes, but to a lesser extent.

It is typically the diffence in strengths of the different heart chanbers that causes the problems, the left ventricle that pushes the blood out of the heart can decome disproportionately stronger than the atrium that recieves the blood which is where the problems arise. Cardio helps balance the strength of the atrium, therefore enabling it to withstand the higher pressure blood recieved from a stronger ventricle

That is why regular cardio is essential if you have any care for your health. Balance is the key.

I must stress however, that when I refer to cardio in this scenario, I am not refering to the 'Fat burning' cardio that bodybuilders typically do that is of a higher intensity. I refer to prolonged cardio sessions whereby heart rate is kept to 60-70%, i.e - long walks in the countryside type of thing.

Hope this helps to clear thinks up a bit

Was it not true that when Jon Paul Sigmarrson died at 30 his heart was three times the size it should have been ? If you play with fire you get burnt.
