Can steriods be detected with a urine drug test, or does it need to be a blood test?

steroids and most drugs can be detected with a urine test, remember Rio Ferdinand he forgot to take a piss and went shopping instead.

for any drug to show up in a urine or blood test, the testers have to look for traces of that drug. it doesn't just leap out at them. if the testers are looking for steroids, you've been using recently and haven't been taking the necessary precautions so as to avoid detection in a test, them you will in all probability test positive. unless this is a sports related test however, i wouldn't worry.

i got the impression rio missed the test cos he`d been partying and had been sniffing!

If your worried about a work test or a medical for a job then I wouldn't panic too much, they only find things if they are testing for them and steroids aren't usually a test they do, they are usually looking for recreationals as they are the ones which screw you up.

My boss before starting Extreme knew I was a user and was fine with it until things got sh1tty between us and he kept threatening to test me. I told him to goahead but to know the legalities of his actions if he were to fire me.

Steroids are NOT illegal to use, posses or purchase only illegal to sell. They will have difficulty in taking any action against you unless you're a cop or similar.
