Default Male anabolic hormones

OK, was reading around and chatting to a few people today and had a bit of shock regarding non-testosterone steroids.

Now, i feel like my knowledge has been challenged big time here. I thought that an effect of EVERY steroid was to increase testosterone in the body (exogenously).

However I thought about this: If a user was to take 1000mg deca/week (so a high dose of deca), on its own, where would his test levels be?

-Higher
-Same
-Lower

than before...

Now before i would have said of course higher, because he's taking a load of steroids so of course testosterone will increase massively. But now i realise that nandrolone would be massively increased, but in fact testosterone levels are actually likely to lower than whilst not on steroids at all?

And if this is true, why would anybody want to only target nandrolone and not stack it with testosterone? Is the main reason for stacking steroids to target each different male hormone from different compounds to get a full effect?

Weirdly shocked/confused, help me out here...

Nick

My first returning post god its been a long time.

Anyway short and sweet

Not that difficult if you think about it theres no test in deca (nandrolone) and all exegenous hormones are testosterone surpressive to my knowledge.

No test in cycle equals lower test levels total. Which is why a lot of people to my knowledge use the phrase no test equals no cycle.

(I'll reintroduce myself later to all the newer guys site looks like its doing great though some very good posts on here that I've just browsed and some great info as usual)

So it looks like I just got confused, its not just testosterone that increases muscle mass, but any of the male sex hormones.

Welcome back yg
