Hello,
I read the post at the top of this forum from 'Soulcard' about steroids. It says "you need to be lifting properly for at least 18 months" before starting steroids and also "consuming 4000 calories a day". What would happen if you hadn't been lifting for that long or burning off that amount of calories but are not willing to wait that amount of time to see what you can do naturally, and want to start steroids straight away? If you get your diet completely right and start lifting 3-5 days a week properly and start steroids at the same time, what affect will this have?? Is it possible to just do 6 weeks of steroids and thats it!! just to get some muscle gains and not carry on using them?? thanks. |

Hi mate. Lots of questions there.
I think before you can get some answers, you need to post up some more information: a) What are your stats (age, height, weight etc) b) What are your goals? c) What is your training history (you say you have been training less than 18 months) d) What is your normal weekly training programme like e) Give an example of your typical daily diet It sounds like you're going to give the gear a go anyway (you say you're "not willing" to wait that long). That's fair enough but if you give us the above information, you'll get some sound advice from guys with a lot of experience and knowledge |

Ok mate. For starters, I think you've got conflicting goals. If you're serious about putting on some more muscle mass, forget about losing weight for the time being (you are not overweight). For example, you could decide to give yourself a whole year where the sole goal was to put on some quality mass. Once achieved, you can turn your attention to getting cut.
To be blunt, your diet is crap - that's not enough to feed a five year old. Do you not eat at all after your afternoon sandwich? There's nothing wrong with the fillings but you need to get some decent carbs and veggies on your plate as well. I'd be aiming for four solid meals a day, supplemented with some liquid meals (protein drinks, mass builders etc). Check out some of the journals on the forum (mine, LeeB, Nick) and get a variety of examples and see what would work for you. As for your training, you need to post a more specific breakdown of your workouts. 3 to 4 times a week is fine, as long as you're doing the right things. Finally, is there a reason why you're training at home and not at a gym. I trained at home for many years and it was only when I joined a gym did I begin to grow and learn. You can't beat others around for motivation. Hope that all sounds ok mate. You need to tap into that enthusiasm you've obviously got and really go for it. |

Its by implying there is one TRUTH. I was only trying to get him to consider several options. And you're right, I was hasty, your's is another option for him to think about.
I agree with what you said about orals. But the guys only eating triple scrambled eggs and a sandwich all day. What good is any gear gonna do him on that diet |

Thats my point mate. Help him out with the getting "everything else in place" bit. I apologise for having a pop. I'm not trying to discourage him from going onto gear but you must admit from the post, there's quite a lot else to get in place as well.
Jonstan mate - sorry to sabotage your thread. At least you've now got two opinions to chew over - I'm sure you'll get some more |
