| Under Construction Join Date: May 2006 Location: Dublin Posts: 24 Rep Power: ![]() | OK got my D-bol, going with a a 6 week course wk1-3pd wk2-4pd wk3-6pd wk4-6pd wk5-4pd wk6-3pd all 5mg tabs but im wondering when is the best time to take them and also when to take the nolvadex, the lad im geting them off told me a bit but im looking for some independent views, thanks |

Either all at once first thing or split them through the day I prefer splitting. so take them evenly spilt between three doses. Again why are you tapering. |

| Illuminati Join Date: Apr 2005 Posts: 1,539 Rep Power: ![]() | tapering down isn't going to miraculously kick start you test production as the dose is lower its not a case of using a litlle exogenous test and having half your own working or using a bigger dose and maybe 30% of it works etc.. Your testosterone production will have stopped almost if not completely entirely while you are on cycle. It will not restart again until you are off cycle. So what exactly does tapering achieve. Dbol only IMO opinion as most people on the board know is a poor cycle. Look around the board and use the search function and type the words dbol in to have a look through the various arguments. ON this board there are around 20 competitors as well as around another group of us who at leats pretend we know what we are talking about. If you read the threads you will get a good idea of what you need to consider. Everyone doesn't always agree but hey its a board of different individuals of course we don't but you will get a good overall picture and enough info to make up your own mind. |

| Moderator Musclechat Icon Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 1,983 Rep Power: ![]() | tapering is pointless: 1 - as stated above, your test is shut down and will only BEGIN to restart production once the gear is fully out of the system.. and even then needs clomid/nolva to give it a kickstart into action.... so in view of this all tapering does is give you less gains at the end of your cycle!! 2 - its all about blood levels.. why taper up? so you have less gains initially? because there will be lower blood levels of the steroid in your system! and tapering down again reduces the blood levels of the steroid over time.. meaning less gains and less enhancement when your test is shut down.. not a good thing. CORRECT WAY: start at a dose (in your case youve said 40mg i think - ill not comment on dosage as each to their own in this respect although i work by teh principle more is not better - if your growing at 20mg then your growing so why up it!!). keep that dose the same for X amount of weeks so you have good consistent blood levels in your system giving your body the best chance of making solid gains. once youve got to week X stop the gear and start your PCT - there will be plenty otehr threads/advice on how to run PCT for dbol only cycle. once you start PCT your body is basically fighting to return to normal and keep all the gains.. so this is critical! with regard whether dbol only is a good course or not. theres much better out there but if you have done your research and you are comfortable with thsi as a starting point then that is what is important. dont let other people convince you that you HAVE to run a specific course.. its an individual thing and you will learn over time. the main point is that you choose a course that best suits your goals and that will enable you to best achieve them! what are your goals? im no expert by any means. but i take a no nonsense simple approach which has always worked well for me. there are no magic potions. if your diet is not good enough and your training below par then your gains on this cycle will be mainly fat and water! that might not be what you want to hear but its fact! ______________________ If your not a part of the greatest... you got to be the greatest yourself!
