It would usually take me about the same time I was off for, or a little longer.

So if you off for 2 months, expect 2 to 2 1/2 months to get back.

Yeh I had surgery 5 days ago and hope that I don't get set back to much because I am not going to be able to train for about 3-4 more weeks. Hopefully the muscle memory kicks in for me.

if you guys cant train, keep your protien high to help body hang onto as much muscle as poss but drop the carbs a bit to allow for your reduced activity.

Good luck

You'll be shocked how fast it comes back, I've had more operations than a series of ER and it comes back fast each time so don't panic.

Personally, I've found that size and strength come back within half of the time of training i.e 2 months off 1 month to get back. Cardiovascular takes a bit longer. But extreme's right it comes back very quickly and sometimes it's actually beneficial to have a break. But, don't get too stressed about it. Stress is one of the worst things to prevent/lose muscle.
