drug test joining police or fire brigade

hi new poster, im currently in selection process for both above services and have medical for police on may 5th, just wondering if anyone can tell me how long proviron, tamoxifen, stanizol stay in system and if they will show during a drugs test?

Unlikely they'll test for any of the above but check www.apex-pharmaceuticals.com because they have detection times listed there.

You've got nothing to worry about, every police doctor I've met (and I've met a few) has had one foot in the grave and dosn't really give a s**t. Your more likely to fail on bad eyesight or an offensive tattoo!!!

Plus they're only testing urine for the usuals, opiates, cocaine, hallucinogens etc and these are out of your system in a week.

Police and Fire Service in the UK test for Amphetamine, Cocaine, MDMA, Cannabis, heroin and Benzodiazapines.
They use a pretty basic field test kit on urine samples.
I think testing for steroids is pretty much in the too hard to do basket.

So if one was to have done say a Deca cycle like 6 months previous yet it was still in system would they count that against you if they somehow found it?

thanks everyone for the replies, i had a feeling they would not test for steroids just the date of medical was brought forward 3 weeks!!

no problem, sweating like hell over this bloody drug test, only took them for 5 days so praying theyre out of my system! best of luck with yours too!!

i am a fireman and i am99% sure there is no drug test at all...they take a urie test for your medical but its for diseases rather than drugs....

it definately says on the letter ive recieved that its a medical including a drug test results of which will be known within 21 days of completion of the test
