Default Blood Test

Im currently running a cycle of test en at 500mg per week, kick started with Dbol at 30mg per day for first 3-4 weeks. I have an underactive thyroid hence I take thyroxine tabs each day, 1 per day so the thyroid levels are normal in my body. Normally I dont need blood tests but the other day my doctor asked me to do a test as a check up to see if my levels are as normal. This is a problem as Im now nearly 3 weeks into my cycle and dont want the steroids to show up. I dont think they will test for them but if they are putting my thyroid levels out they may do further tests and they will show up then? Have any of you guys got thyroid problems or know if steroids affect them that much? I have been feeling tired more than normal but isnt this normal when doing Dbol? Also could I tell my doctor not to put it on my medical records if anything showed up?

Cheers for any advice...

I think you should go for the tests, your health is far more important than feeling embarassed about doing roids to a doctor... (who has probably come across steroid use 50 times)

Hello mate,

This may be of use....

http://www.mindandmuscle.net/content/page-197.html

...basic gist is that AAS does seem to affect the thyroids normal negative feedback cycle by reducing TBG, however different steroids seem to have different effects.

Since your shortcutting the normal negative feedback cycle by taking t4 I'm sure that your TSH levels would remain low (which is the yard-stick for getting your levels right) whatever AAS you took. Your other thyroid hormones (Free T3, T3, TBG etc..) would most likely be effected though.

I figure if your worried then go get the blood test. If all is well when you get the results, keep schtum, if they're WAY out, then let the good doctor in on it.
