However, others contradict this saying that one should start small, because the more you use, the more your receptors down-regulate, and you will have to up the dosages in the following cycle in order to get the same affect. Which view is right...? ....confused :? |

| Moderator Musclechat Icon Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: west yorkshire Posts: 1,011 Rep Power: ![]() | a 'newbie' should train completely drug free for as long as possible in order to get the best gains. when, eventually you do take the plunge if you do, i'm of the opinion less is more. there is a limit to how much muscle tissue you can gain in a given time, and a newbie will more than likely reach this limit with minimal chemical assistance. any excess amounts merely toxify the system and cause more noticable side effects. i'd stick with this attitude to gear throughout your entire life. use only what you need. don't assume 1000mg will give better gains than 500mg. |

| Making Progress Join Date: Dec 2005 Posts: 142 Rep Power: ![]() | I think you should get a good few years of natural training where you learn proper form and learn the ability to consistently eat at least 6 good meals a day, then when you stop gaining with perfect diet and training hit some gear, from my experience of other guys oral cycles are not that effective at promoting lean tissue gains a good starter cycle is 500mg of test enanthate per week for 8 weeks with PCT starting in week 11.
