deca and proscar/finasteride

im looking to do a test en and deca cycle. i was thinking 500ml test and 400ml deca. can i use finasteride with these compounds in order to prevent hairloss? i heard from someone off this site that finasteride may not be compatable with deca, but have never read this anywhere else. also, would it be beneficial for me to just not bother with the finasteride and just reduce the dosage of the test (as its much more androgenic than deca) and do say 250ml test and 400ml deca. i was going to kick start the cycle with dbol but its too androgenic and therefore too much of a risk to the hairline for my liking. cheers 4 any help guys. i just want to bite the bullet now and do a cycle but this is something that has been bothering me for a while.

Cant help directly mate, but im was in EXACTLY the same position with the feeling that you just wanna start but dont want to jump in too deep.

I planned to do a sus and deca cycle but the money got tied up. I settled for a short course of anabol. I was only on 20mg a day and loved it!!

Ive thrown questions like yours up before and garry (Garrilla) advised me that my first injectable cycle should be 500mg and test enanthate ew for 10 weeks. People have rightly said that it would be wise for me to experience one substance at a time. So ive tried the dbol and will do the test in jan or feb. Cant wait!!

Point is if its your first time then I guess this advice can be extended to you too. 1 substance should be enough for the first time. Also its been pointed out to me that the more gear you do, the more you have to do in the future to get good results. So with that in mind, start small and work up.

I'm sure someone with real experience will be along soon :mrgreen:

i wud keep on that cycle mate, i dont really think 250mg a weeks is enough, as u r on quite a bit of deca, 500mg of test a week is good

Finasteride only works with test, whatever you do, don't run it with deca! meant to react with it and actually make you lose more of your lovely barnet!

Finasteride is 5-alpha reductase inhibitor it inhibits the conversion of testosterone to DHT which is the cause of hairloss, BPH and acne. deca is a dht derived steroid NOT test derived. taking this into account i would say the finasteride will hurt you more than help you.
