I've only ever done glute muscle but no pain there, fewer nerves I think compared to other places as well as least chance of hitting a vein,

Quads sometimes are a pain for me and sometimes ok. Delts are easy and painless

Glutes and delts are generally the least painful for me. If you shower before your shot you'll loosen up the muscle a little and that can reduce pain. I'd also recommend massaging the injection site for 3-4 minutes afterwards.

1" 25g generally, if you're super lean you might get away with 5/8" 25g pins.
