Default Training when on a cycle

Hey people,

Just wanna know how to train when i do my first cycle. I mean, I know how to train, its more to do with training frequency. How long does it take to recover when on gear? Whats a common split + training days?

Thanks guys, this is a great site!

hi mate , you seem to be running before you can walk, you should have a solid training routine, how long have you been training?you ask for a common split and training days?, all this and diet/protein intake should be sorted before even thinking of using anything, buy some of the mags, flex, muscle & fitness, web sites, get all the info and more, or ask some of the guys and girls on this site, their all 100%, sorry i cant give you more advice, but we need more info from you m8.

Hey Shaun,

Thanks for the reply matey. Thats not quite what I meant. I been training for about a year. I have a good three way split and train every other day. When I start to feel a bit beasted, I take two days off. Diet is good, ive put of over a stone in that year.

My question was more on the lines of; I know that when on gear the body recovers much more quickly so do most guys on it start training say 5 days on 2 days off? Or do they stick to the thier standard training and just grow more?

if your routine has been working for u natural then stick with it when you start ye gear, if you want you could add an extra set to your exercises but DONT overtrain.

I agree...some people on gear do train too much because they feel that they can...

watch your weights and reps and try to make sure you increase either one or both every workout...and be sure to rest enough and sleep enough...remember growth happens when you sleep, not when you are in the gym...

Thanks for the replys. Its hard to guage how I'm gonna feel when I start my cycle. I got a good routine at the minute and im eating like a pig. I find it very easy to tell when im over training, I cant eat right.

Fingers crossed, hasent happened in ages. Wieghts re going up all the time, I love it. Can any of yu guys who do gear try to describe how it feels? I know its a personal thing to some extent but any info would be cool. Describe...
1: day to day
2: during workout
3: rest of the day after a workout
4: night (sleep) and waking.

This may seem excessive but I have a small business and am at Uni so I want to be as prepared as poss. Ive got a real clear idea, but would like to hear more from some of you guys

1 thing that gave me an enormous boost was the following tip a friend of mine gave me:
take pictures before, take pictures in week 1-4, but don't look at them before week 4. That's because you're always looking in the mirror, waiting for that extra pound to appear. You won't see the difference when you watch constantly.

Besides that, training will go like mad and waking up is like a new day in paradis has arrived But getting to sleep can give you trouble, especially with some products like dbol, which increases your bloodpressure. Make sure you know what you're doing and you'll get a great time, but don't underestimate what it can do if used wrongfully!!

I live by the following rules: don't overdo it and don;t increase weights to fast, it's better to just add an extra set.

Good luck.

thanks for the advice Taz,

I am gonna take pics once a week, including through the pct so I'll have a good record at the end of it all. Cant wait to get started. I need to get hold of it all first. I have a guy that can get it but I dont really know how much i should be paying and money is an issue for most of right! I'm waiting to get into the sources section and have a chat with some of those guys, see what happens!

Ive been thinking about taking dbol for the first 3 weeks while the other stuff is kicking in, but i be a moody f**ker if i dont get enough sleep so maybe not. Well I'll have a think about it...

Also, Once i start my cycle im gonna start a journal on here to keep track of it all, how i feel, perform and any other issues. I think at the end it would make an interesting read for me.
