Does anybody know whether its legal to buy and import steroids (for your own use) over the internet? into the UK

Possession for personal use shouldn't be a problem as AAS are classified as a Class C drug. Customs are much more interested in other drugs like MDMA and heroin etc.

:shock: Never mind the legality of it! Did anyone watch the post office documentary on channel 4 tonight? Wonder what those people would do if they had a nosey in a jiffy bag and found a few hundred quids worth of gear? :shock:

Yes, I saw that programme. If your postman starts looking like He's filled out a bit and turns up in pink speedos, you'll know He's been having a dabble.
About the main topic though, yes you are allowed to import steds legally for your own use. I called UK customs a while back to ask the same question. They said:"Vast amounts are left up to the customs officers discretion" the only thing you are liable for is the 12.8% import duty (assuming they do open your package)

hgh is same. Any substance classed as an anabolic drug by the home office is permitable (within reason, they're listed in official papers) as long as it's for your own personal use and it comes in a medicinal form (i.e tablets, ampules, topical gels etc, no powders).
Contrary to popular belief, there is no guideline as to how much is permitted by the individual to be considered own personal use. That's up to the discretion of customs officials, who incidently, have absolutely no idea how much of what substance is used by athletes.
If your up front and open about it with customs, they'll be much more likely to permit your delivery. An import/export license is not needed, but if the package is labelled as something it's not (which a lot of companies do) and customs look inside, kiss it goodbye.

i had gear seized by customs back in feb, still not heard from them.

whats the crack with buying it abroad then do you really save that much money? i could understand it if you were buying loads to re sell

what sort of prices/savings are you getting?

If you are in the UK and order personal amounts you have absolutely zero problems to worry about mate (and belive me I know). I would say you have a 99% chance of getting your pack, I left 1% chance for "lost" packs or (more likely) stolen packs from your boys in customs. U shouldn't have any worries. I've known some in the UK who ordered way more than a 90 day supply and they never had any problems. Good Luck!!
