I've done a bit of research and found it could be stress on the kidneys. It's not a major pain and it's not there all the time but i'd like to try and sort it while it's early on. I dont drink enough but am trying my best to increase my water intake, i just wondered if there was any supplement or precaution that i should be taking. Thanks for your time |

| Making Progress | why not see a chiropractor as the kidney pain is different than a lumber spine one. They will surely be able to tell. From what I'm told, a lumber spine often occurs with a stiffness and/or pain in the sciatic. A kidney pains usually occurs to the either side of the spine and can be tender to the touch, i.e. as if you got a punch. I have had years of back pain and once had a kidney infection but the pain was different. Also if I can remember correctly there was an "odd" feeling when I pissed. i.e. not a pain as such but seemed hot :? I saw this on the web http://health.discovery.com/centers/...ck_kidney.html seems to tally with what I can remember. Don't take my word for it though , am no expert (I wonder is it due to water retention, no idea, just a guess ) |

It's not tender to touch or i dont have the other symptoms so maybe its just back troub. I cycle a lot for quite a long distances and it seems to be worse after this, so hopefully it's from that. Thanks |
