Default Advice plz....

sorry bout the double post but......



i

Recently bought:

Reflex Instant Whey 5lb tub

and

LA Muscle Creatine Pills

Im quite a skinny guy and im looking to put on some muscle and burn off excess fat.

I dont really eat alot during the day, sometimes nothing, so im currently going to drink a few of the protein drinks and take a few of the pills (2-3) during the day then workout after work, then when i get home i eat a big meal.

Am i doing anything wrong here, do any of you have any advice for me to help me along?

When i got to the gym i do about 20 minutes on the rowing machine or cross trainer and do free weights and alot of situps. Mostyle just free weights and situps and i try throw in a bit of cardio excercise.

Any help would be much appreciated.....

Hi mate. Food+gym = muscle. You gotta eat some food during the day (ev.2.5/3 hrs of waking day) to put on weight bro. A gram of protein per pound of body weight is what you should be aiming for. Do you not feel hungry during the day?

well you just wasted your money on supplements if you smoke pot. that shit is terrible for your muscles. get real bro. first of all you need to eat during the day and a big meal at night is the worst thing you can do if you wanna drop body fat. get your diet in check, come up with a workout regimen and then worry about proper supplementation. its extremely hard to fat loss diet and gain muscle at the same time without steroids. if i were you id chose on or the other. jsut my 2 cents.

I smoke weed.

I smoke a joint a night about an hour before bed, I have to as I have been smoking for 15 years and can't sleep with out it (unless I have sleeping pills) so I use the lesser of 2 evils.

I don't agree that it blights your muscle gains badly, I am currently 200lbs.

It does increase your estrogen but not significatly (does depend on how much you smoke and which varitety of course). Skunk or nothing for me.

You need to eat if you want to grow mate, supplements are exacly what the name suggests, not a meal replacement.

bodybuilding and weed don't mix, if you choose to smoke weed your wasting your time at the gym ain't gonna do nothing 4 ya!

Yeah quit smoking gear mate. I stopped about 4 years ago after using it for about 7 years constantly (about 1.5 oz a week). I have never looked back mate, it will suprise you how much it holds you back, I gained 2.5 stone when I stopped it. With regards to the sleep, put up with it as your body learns to get tired by itself after a while. If you are needing it to sleep its a problem.

I save my smoking pure weed for 1 week a year in amsterdam only :twisted: . The other 51 weeks I am a saint.
