Im not saying you are right or wrong... merely pointing out that you are not qualified to make such advice. Unless of course you are a GP (doctor) or such.

Best advice..... go ask a qualified doctor on the effects of steriods at your age.
How many GP's know their shit about gear, they are totally ignorant and will give you the same answer 9 times outta 10 and that's don't do it,which is no good if you are gonna do it anyway. My GP had to look anapolon up in his drug reference book and also didn't know what ghb and hGH where.Don't ask your GP ,unless he is progressive and specialises in endocrinology. How many peeps can get referred to an Endocrinologist on the NHS for steroid use?It ain't gonna happen, that's why Joe has come to this forum and asked these questions,he obviuosly has nowhere else to turn to,and judgin from his response he's gonna wait at least until his bodies stopped growin in a good few yrs,if Joe had gone and asked his GP he' most probably still be none the wiser and would still be intent on usin gear.Come on lets try and be realistic and offer real world advice

I'm not here to judge but from what you have said - your sounding ignorant. Steroids arent muscle in a bottle, for them to be effective you need a strict regimen, a very strict regimen. Not ONE teenager should be thinking about taking steroids as throughout the teenage years testosterone and growth hormone levels are peaked. The minimum age for people to take steroids is 21, at this age the body has almost completed its cycle of growth - thus, steroids should not interfere with growth plates. Even then, it is recommended that a person dicing with the idea of taking steroids should be at a healthly weight for steroid use which is around 190/200lbs and feel they have reached their genetic limit, or trained for around 5/6 years. No one should ever take them without considerable research and suggesting the "safest" steroid out there to this kid is irresponsible.

cheers

cheers.

Nelix, no im not a doctor but from browsing many bb boards u dont ave to b a rocket scientist to realise that 16 yr olds shouldnt b takin steroids FULL STOP.
Also, i agree most doctors ave limited knowledge wen it comes to steroids mine didnt even no wat creatine was and didnt look too happy wen i asked him bout it.

Irun Lung is right in his comments anabolics aren't the end all be all to muscle mass, they are just part of the over-all picture ,you can't grow by takin gear alone ,you need a decent diet, training and supplement regime also.I'd say 21 is about the right age to start usin em if all other factors are right and your body has reached a plateaux and stopped growing,if you use them before you are gonna lose this window of opportunity forever

Bump to all on this one

But in defence of the local GP (I'm not one, have no affiliation to one etc) but how many actually see people such as us - healthy, nutrition wise, intelligent and have a very basic knowledge of the human physiology as opposed to the people who clog up the NHS with "I've got a sniffle but I'm sure it's pneumonia/influenza/can't possibly go to work..." symptoms?

If they did, then I'm sure these professional, academic minded people would be ineterested in advising those who are contemplating AAS/PH/PS's what the 'medical' aspect of these compounds upon the human body would be, unfortunately all we as consumers have to rely on are the experiences of others (what ever they maybe) and the 'advice' of the manufacturer - "This is the greatest substance on Earth...Pack 1/2 ton of solid muscle on in a week using our patented >>fancy name for sugar<< insulin/creatine/growth 'hormone?!', Russian/Eastern Bloc non steroidal mass gain factoring delivery system as used by...Mr XXX at the World XXX Championship etc..."

IMHO, I would much rather be (if I was intelligent enough!) helping someone who was obviously into a healthy lifestyle extend or enhance that lifestyle with either no or minimum detrimental affects.

Well, we all agree he shouldn't be taking anything stronger than whey protein at this stage. OK. We can only hope he listens. Its our opinion on the matter but it may not be his.
But if he is set on taking steroids, burying ones head in the sand and just saying 'do not do it' could also cause a health problem for this young man. If he listens to his local dealer he may purchase something that will keep him at the height he is now forever, disrupt his fertility and secondary sexual characteristics, as well as making him a moody, spotty agressive idiot. If he keeps getting the same negative response from everyone he would never find this out. So he's been told Anavar (which is correct) and ive agreed.
If I saw a 16 year old about to inject smack with a dirty needle, I wouldnt say dont do it and walk away; id take him to the nearest needle exchange and make sure he did it safely.

Absolutely.........I hope he reads all this and gets scared. Joe youd be better off going down the butchers and spending your cash there mate. The things you think are right at 16 aint so when you get older, thats for sure. FFS dont cause any long term damage. Transplants are crap, just ask George Best.

at 16 youre TOO YOUNG to use steroids -end of discussion.
Youre still growing-muscles and skeletal system included-and the steroids can interfere with normal growth and find you in your 30's with heart problems amongst a list of other physiological and neurological disorders.
Wait until youre fully grown and understand exactly what the different steorids will have as effect on your body. For now workout like a bastard and see if you actually live to lift...
