| Under Construction Join Date: Apr 2004 Posts: 51 Rep Power: ![]() | Hi yall Im just about to take a course of anabol 5mg, but what supplements should i be taking with them if any. Would it be fine using protein and creatine or should i just stick to the anabol. Many thanks if anyone has any ideas |

| Join Date: Jun 2004 Posts: 82 Rep Power: ![]() | You got to use protein if you want to gain,steroids aren't magic pills they are just part of the oever all jigsaw m8.Creatine is a personal choice ,but here are some basic supplements you need to be takin especially with oral gear.get some milk thistle aka silymarin from any Holland and Barret.also a good multi-vit,I like solgar,they are expensive but good quality.next you need a good quality protein,whey concentrate is easy to find,use the best you can afford.I would personally use glutamine before creatine as it as many extra benefits as an anti oxidant ect,and is also a cell volumiser like creatine but working in a different way.Look for some decent info on a diet,looks to me like you are just jumping into taking gear without doin the relevent research.Remember bodybuilding isn't about abusing drugs |

I assure you im not jumping into gear without research, i have looked for hours at the side effects what to expect and the various steroids there are, just not many web pages tell you if you need additional supplements. I also work occasional in a pharmacy and have spoken to the chemist bout the varying methods and steroids available. Cheers again for the advice |

| Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 0 Rep Power: ![]() | Supplements you may like to take as well as the above include vitamin C -powerful antioxidant and essential in building collagen and connective tissue. Vitamin B5 if you get any acne/spots. Get some dolomite or similar magnesium supplement in case of muscle cramps- take b4 bed if these occur. I like an healthy oil supplement like Udo's choice or even extra virgin olive oil ev day (2 tablespoons) as during AS time I eat a lot of red meat and this is to balance out the saturated fat intake and get it to a more favourable 1:1 ratio sat/unsaturates, as AS can play with your LDL/HDL cholesterol level within the body. The most important thing is water tho. At least a gallon per day if not more if you can. ESSENTIAL. |
