She doesn't like weight training because she can build muscle really fast even using relatively light weights. Any suggestions? ![]() |

Diet is the main part, she's been eating your basic healthy meals, lots of salad, tuna, steamed fish, steamed chicken, might not sound to appetising, but if u steam them with ginger and spring onion, they are superb! Exercise wise, we have been running 3-5 times a week around out local park (not sure about the distance but it takes about 40 minutes at a good pace) She has been going to the gym once a week to do a light full body workout and using the cross trainer, and most nights while we're watching tv, she'll be doing a variety of plank exercises and crunches. She finds the most effective one for the lower abs was passing a swis ball between between her feet to her hands, extending her body and then crunching it to pass the pall back etc. I must say that she is looking great after only a few weeks of this regime. The only problem is the weight seems to come of first from the face and erm, her threpenny bits. The tummy seems for her anyway to be a more stubborn area. Persistance is definately the key. If ur friend does do any running, i strongly suggest running in a park on grass, my shins have taken a pounding from road running so i would avoid that if u can. Wish her good luck. |

If I had known that forty or more years later, I'd be having these problems...I definitely would have gone "off course" and hit the fields and pastures. Thanks for the heads up. |
