| Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: harrogate Posts: 73 Rep Power: ![]() | Hi, I've been looking for a forum in the UK to discuss and learn about lifting and fitness. Originally, I'm from the states, but I'm now studying here. I love working out, but haven't had any luck meeting people with the same interests. I'm tired of seeing the same girls at the gym doing like 300 hours of cardio and wondering why their butt is jiggly. I would love to compete one day, but I don't even know who to contact or where to start. I can't wait to talk and get to know you all. |

I got off track during exams last semester, but I've been eating clean for two months! I've manage to totally change my body composition. Have you both been avid lifters for a long time or are you just starting out? |

| Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: n.ireland Posts: 117 Rep Power: ![]() | must admit im an old hand at it. started when i was 18, competed as a junior when i was 20, then carried on until i was 26 when i had a lay off for 8 years, got back into it again and competed again 3 years ago, and from then on twice every year! now 38 |
