Hi
First time on the board I signed up last night. I'm 43 now, been going to the gym twice a week for 23 years! Except last year when we had our second baby girl, It had to take a back seat for a while. Back training now three times a week an hour at a go! When I started at 20 it was because I was 10.5 stones and could not put on any weight, I went up to 13 stone ( height 5'.11" ) within 3 years and stuck around it. Now 15 stone, carrying a little excess around the middle, but not much. Always trained to keep fit, but I would be interested to see if I can change my shape a little at 43? I want to lose the extra couple inches on my gut and increase my shoulder and chest size! Any and all help appreciated!

Hi

I also joined yesterday. I'm 34 competed in 4 bodybuilding shows placed 1st in three and 3rd in the other (all junior shows). I've been lifting for about 15 years and slowly gained weight round my waist (three kids and a ****er of a job). I am pleased with my build apart from my gut. I can still see slightly my upper abs but can hold nearly a fist full of lard in my hands at belly button level.
What used to work when i was younger doesnt now and even though i eat well i cant shift the weight.
Any advice?

Buy the way love this forum, pissed off paying for mags full of ads and no real advice.

Cheers

Rik
