Default Hello one and all

Hi all

Just wanted to say hello, and have read some great posts. I am now half a century of age and never say die and all that! Did bb'ing for 10 years up to around 10 years ago and am now back into the 6th week; muscle memory is fantastic and gains are just flying along. When I find out how I wil pop a before pic on which was 6 weeks ago and one from around 8 weeks in, hopefully it might inspire some of the younger members that it is possible with hard work and determination.

Currently running at 5 on and two off with cardio mid week, trying to leave each muscle group for 7 days and eating like a horse with MRT making up the prote intake. Arms were 18 inches a decade ago and were down to 14, back upto 15 so its started already. Roid free, but into some serious new supps that were not around 10 years ago.

Bench is best gain, up from just the bar to 8 reps of 120k, that has amazed me, boy am I sore. 60 minutes is the work out and fairly hard, non stop but alternating groups such as push and pull with the break being the opposing set; works for me and am doing 3 litres of water a day; Gods miricle supplement, hard to get into but worth it if you can.

Hope to visit soon, for the meantime my zimmer frame aint around the corner yet. yeehar, its the gym in 18 hours.

GB

Hi Squatty

Thanks for your kind words; to be precise on the BP, the bar on the rack is around 30kgs so it was not exactly from zero, it went up staedily each week to 120kgs and target for Xmas (grrr that word) is to get back to where I was a decade ago 160kgs for 5 reps, 40kgs don't sound a lot but current levels are at max heavily spiced up on Phosphagen elite and super spaced out. Without the stimulant I struggle on the ton, its a good drop of dollop and works well with muscle armor.

Anyway I'm waffling away probably in the wrong section; is there a your story or how it all went section? I thought I had finished with all this, 10 feckin years on, not looked at a gym, assumed a 36 waist was ok for a 51 year old and now I'm bloody back, hooked again, thinking about the next meal of clucky or toona etc, prote drink being mixed, buying new gym clothing, getting a tan, waist now 4 inches smaller, hurt like hell, arms blowing up, shirts are getting tight, bed at 2200 hrs, tons of rest, no booze, stpped smoking, awww shite it's just great; do you know what I mean?

Go steady

GB

You sound as hooked as me GB.

Why not start up a journal in the journal section - I prattle on for hours there but its useful as a tracking your progress (and moods) tool, and you get some handy feedback there
