| Making Progress Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Edinburgh Posts: 121 Rep Power: ![]() | Hi everyone, i checked out this site a few weeks ago and it seems really good, especially as how it's geared towards people here in the UK - up til now i've been making do with US forums for bodybuilding. I'm 22 and have been weight training for a year and a half now, altho took a few months off. I'm 5'11 and just under twelve stone. For the past two and a bit months i've been on a 5*5 routine and bulking phase, and while i'm happy with the slightly broader, thicker topside, i'm not happy about my new love handles, so have just started cutting! At the moment i'm doing weights 3 days a week and cardio 4 days a week, although this is my first week of this phase and i've never done cardio before so am concentrating on increasing my stamina for the first few weeks so i can at least burn a decent amount of calories in a session without collapsing! :P My goal in the long run is to add about 10-15 pounds of lean mass, but wanna cut first as the lard is getting me a bit down! Gonna convert to the dark side for my next bulking phase in a few months, but gonna do more reading and get some contacts first! Anyway, hi everyone |
