I'd be careful supplementing with too many bars if you are also tring to get your bf down. As London said some of these bars can have 300 calories but may only yield 20-25g protein.

Buy a decent protein powder and a few shakers and take the powder in the shaker and just add water. You will get 20-25g protein for half the calories and fat.

See if u can squeeze out some money for a protein tub instead of protein bars. 3 good main reasons being:

1.more protein
2.easily absorbed
3.cheaper in the long run

Agree mate. Why have protein bars when you can enjoy a succulent chicken fillet or rump steak? If it is cost, there are plenty of online wholesale meat suppliers who can give you impressive deals - Westin Gourmet (my fav), Abel & Cole, Donald Russell....

If money is an issue, have a look at the thread up here for homemade protein flapjacks, its gotta be cheaper than throwing your money away on bars. However eating properly is even cheaper: tuna, chicken, lean beef, fish, should all do the trick!
