Default Lactic Acid

Hi Folks

Well just after competing at the weekend mybody has exploded upby 30lbs in weight due to a massive carb load. I am very happy with the size increase which maybe thinks i could have carbed up a hell of a lot more for the show, but i spill over so easy lol. The problem is my delts and calves are excruciatingly painful due to lact ic acid build up just walking around. Tried to train shoulders this morning but the pumps were to painful.Do i just sit it out , consume more fluids or is there anything i can do to ease this build up. Any info much appreciated,

R

Rianabol, there are a couple of good articles on Lactic Acid at the following websites:
www.sciam.com "Why does lactic acid build up in muscles? And why does it cause soreness?" And, www.slimming.co.uk/exercise/results/lactic-acid.htm. Hope one or the other helps.

I find that more cardio has helped me get rid of lactic acid faster.

Unfortunately there is no getting away from that awful feeling after a show mate. Just accept the pain lol.

Cardio is the short answer.

I've got a load of stuff on Lactic Acid somewhere. I'm not sure if it will apply to post show, but it is the respiratory system which removes it.

You can do work to increase your lactic acid threshold too.
