Just wanted to know if anyone has done it before and if anyone had any training tips or could tell me a bit more about what i'm getting myself into. The official site makes it sound hardcore but videos i've seen of it don't make it look too bad. Tough Guy © ![]() |

He said to watch out for the hill with the concrete pipes in, as many of these pipes are half-filled with water and blanked off at the end - nightmare as you have 20 blokes behind you... Good luck with it mate, I dont envy you CM |

I'm guessing that the hardest part will be dealing with the elements and having to give it some when ur freezing cold and soaking wet! not sure how i can train for that =/ |

Not sure where i can lay my hands on a tyre but i've already started jogging with weights in my back pack and practicing running up and down hills, the main problem i have is bloody painful shins! I'm hoping the pain will subside after my condidtioning improves and that it isn't the dreaded shin splints. I can quite happily run 8 miles round the park but my shins are pretty painful after. I reckon i need to be comfortable running 10 miles cross country before I can even begin to think about the tough guy. Luckily I have plenty of time to train. |
